Description

Gillott Hey Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings. It features a stone slate roof and has three stone gable end stacks. The building is designed in an L-plan with a two-storey outshut at the angle. The south elevation is double fronted, showcasing a central doorway that has a stone lintel and quoins, which is enclosed by a 20th-century glazed porch. On either side of the doorway, there are two light square sectioned mullion windows, with three similar windows located above. The north elevation also includes two similar windows.
