Description

These barns, located to the west of Rowlee Farmhouse, date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble gritstone, featuring gritstone dressings and quoins, and topped with a stone slate roof. The east elevation has a central cart entrance, with a window, a door, and another window on each side. The upper floor includes three circular windows and eight ventilation slits. There is a single-storey bay to the north. The barns have recently undergone significant restoration.
