Description
Lady's Cross, located 400 metres to the west of Barbrook Bridge, is a cross dating from 1618. It features a rectangular base stone that supports the stump of a square shaft with chamfered edges. Additional pieces of the shaft are found lying on the ground nearby. The base is marked with rough inscriptions that read 'I.R. 1618' and 'M.B.'. This site is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, numbered 64.
