Description

Chapel to Longshawe Lodge, built around 1830, is constructed from regularly coursed gritstone with ashlar dressings. It features quoins, moulded copings and kneelers, a moulded eaves cornice, and a stone slated roof. The chapel has three bays, with a low pitched roof over a porch at the northeast end, and a gabled bellcote on the northeast gable. There are simple single light pointed arched windows on the side walls, and a three-light window on the southwest with pointed heads to the lights. This building is listed for its group value only.
