Description

Burbage Bridge is a turnpike road bridge that spans the Burbage Brook and was built around 1758. It features a solid wall made of uncoursed rubble and has two irregular buttresses on each side, which are pierced by a round culvert. The bridge has parapet walls with slab coping, although some parts have been renewed. It carries the road from Sheffield to Hathersage.
