Small manor house: late C16/early C17 with alterations dated 1764. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble with pink sandstone quoins. Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 3 stone chimneys. Rectangular lobby-entry house. 2-storey, 4-bay front. The windows are 3-light tall, square-sectioned stone mullions (one altered) one which has 2 leaded light casements. Towards left is a gabled porch with an ashlar front and RP (for Robert Pott) 1764 carved above. Behind is original chamfered doorcase and 4-board door. Each side of house has a rebated 2-light chamfered stone mullion. Extensions to rear join house to farmhouse.
Interior: Has lost oak baffle. Exposed ceiling beams. Windows have mullions chamfered behind mid C18 panelled window seats and recessed shutters with raised fields. Fireplace in grey sandstone with beaded edges and reeded mantelpiece with good iron range. 2 6-panelled doors with raised fields. Room to right has panelled window seat and cupboards with ogee-handed panels in chimney breast. To rear dogleg staircase has turned column balusters, moulded hand rail and beaded square revels. Panelling under stairs. 2 2-panelled doors upstairs and number of 3 & 4 board doors.
