3/80 Reed Bridge

GV II

Bridge over Todd Brook: late C18. Coursed, squared, buff, sandstone rubble. Segmental arch on low piers has a projecting rubble course above. Plain parapet and a flat coping continue as short wing walls.

Probably built by Macclesfield-Whaley Bridge turnpike trust in 1770 and very similar to Rainow Bridge (q.v.).
