Description
The corn barn at Lima Farm is an early 18th-century structure, with a later 18th-century outshut added. It is built from coursed squared buff sandstone rubble and features a Kerridge stone-slate roof with a stone ridge. The barn has three bays and a tall central cart entrance that is topped with a wooden lintel. There are two lines of ventilation slots along the structure. The continuous outshut at the rear contains a shippon.
Inside, the barn has two roof trusses made of tiebeams and two diagonal struts, along with heavy through purlins and a ridge. This building is listed for its group value only.
