Description

Fern Lea is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and features a stone slate roof. The house has two storeys and two bays, with a central flush doorcase that has a bracketed stone hood above it. The entrance includes a panelled door with a plain overlight. On either side of the door, there are plain sash windows set in flush stone surrounds, and there are two similar windows above. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
