Description

A pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century, situated on the north side of The Square in the parish of Eyam. The cottages are constructed of coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and quoins, and have a stone slate roof. They feature stone gable and ridge stacks. Each cottage is two storeys high and one bay wide. Wayside Cottage to the west has a flush doorcase with a panelled door to the west and a glazing-bar sash window in a flush stone surround to the east; a similar window is above. Roselyn Cottage to the east has an identical elevation, except for a 20th-century door.
