Description
This footbridge, located 20 metres south of Lathkill Lodge over the River Lathkill, is likely an 18th-century replacement of an earlier bridge. It is constructed from limestone and features wide limestone rubble piers that are approximately one and a half feet high, supporting large limestone slabs. This bridge is part of a series of early bridge types commonly found in the area along old trackways. It is included in the register for its group value. The bridge also crosses the parish boundary and is related to another footbridge located 20 metres south of Lathkill Lodge over the River Bradford on Church Lane in Youlgreave.
