Description

The orangery at Hassop Hall is an early 19th-century structure. It is built from red brick and sandstone ashlar, featuring a Welsh slate roof with stone coped gables and plain kneelers. The building has a tall red brick plinth and a low coped parapet on the south side. It is a single-storey building with a south elevation that consists of seventeen bays, with the end bays being slightly advanced. There is a continuous sill band along the elevation. The end bays contain doorways, while the fifteen intermediate bays are fitted with sashes that have vertical glazing bars.
