Description
This is a mid 17th century outbuilding located to the west of Dowager House in Hassop. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone with sandstone dressings and features a stone slate roof with coped gables and moulded kneelers. The building is single storey and has angle quoins. On the south elevation, there is a blocked central doorway with quoins and a massive lintel, flanked by single light windows that have recessed and chamfered surrounds. This outbuilding is included in the listing for its group value.
