Description

Hope House is an 18th-century house located on Hope Road in Alstonefield. It is constructed of coursed and squared limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, topped by a clay tile roof featuring coped verges on kneelers. The building has two storeys and a gable-lit attic, with two mullioned windows that have flat-faced mullions and straight dripstones, each containing two-light casements. To the left of the windows, there is a double-leaved door with lancet panels. Additionally, there is a low single-cell extension to the left of the main structure.
