Description

This building, located to the east of Bateman's Farm, is a house that was formerly a farmhouse and inn. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of colour washed coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. The building features rusticated quoins, end ashlar ridge stacks, and a stone slated roof. It stands two storeys high and has three bays, with glazing bar sashes set in plain stone surrounds. The central doorway is topped by a shallow bracketed hood and features a nine-panelled door. At the rear, there is a two-bay parallel range.
