Description

Pinfold Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of rubble limestone with ashlar sandstone dressings and has a concrete tile roof.

The building is two storeys high and features a three-window range. On the left side, there is a canted-bay projection that includes a double door flanked by casement windows with glazing bars, all beneath a hipped roof. To the right, there are two horizontally-sliding sash windows with eight panes over eight panes, also featuring glazing bars, followed by a casement window of similar design. On the first floor, the horizontally-sliding sash windows have projecting sills and ashlar surrounds. The right return of the building has a door in an ashlar surround and sliding sashes similar to those on the front. The interior has not been inspected.
