Description
This boundary stone, dating from 1790, is located approximately 200 yards south-south-east of Simonside Summit. It is made of ashlar and stands about 18 inches high. One side of the stone is inscribed with "DN," representing the Duke of Northumberland, while the opposite side features "DP," for the Duke of Portland.
