Megs Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage situated within Barber's Yard in Staithes. The exterior is rendered over a rubble base, with a curved wall designed to fit the site’s contours. The roof is covered in pantiles. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows, featuring later 19th-century sash windows. A plain boarded door provides access. It is included as part of the group value of Barber's Yard.
