Description

The Cottage and Viking Cottage are a pair of houses dating from the 18th century, with later alterations. They are likely built on a stone base and have a rendered exterior. The roof is covered in pantiles with stone copings, and a central chimney. Two modern dormers have been added to the roof. Each house has one wide bay, extending over two storeys and an attic. Windows are a mix of 19th-century and modern styles, and are paired or single. A small, pent-roofed front extension has been added to one of the cottages. The doors are 20th-century replacements. The buildings are primarily listed for their group value with Rock Lea.
