Description
The Church of St Peter the Fisherman, along with the attached clergy house, is a mid-19th century mission church that was originally a school. It is constructed from coursed stone and features a shallow plinth. The roof, which has been renewed with asbestos pantiles, includes stone copings and a single chimney. The building consists of one tall storey and an undercroft. There is one blocked round-arched window and a modern window that has been inserted. The undercroft retains four original sash windows with glazing bars and shutters, along with a six-panel door. At the south-west corner, a porch with a pantiled roof, bellcote, and chimney connects to the clergy house, which features a six-panel door and two sash windows with glazing bars.
