Description
Odinsfield is a house dating from 1734, as indicated by the date and initials J.J. on the lintel. The exterior features incised rendered walls that have been recently refurbished, a pantiled roof with a stone ridge, copings, kneelers, and a rendered stack. The building is two storeys high and has two irregular bays.
The entrance on the left consists of a four-panel door, which is sheltered by a 20th-century bracketed wooden hood, positioned under the original lintel. There are two 12-pane sash windows in narrow wood architraves on the ground floor. The first floor has a replaced 16-pane sash window on the left and a 9-pane sash window on the right. A curved kneeler and a rendered chimney are located at the right end of the house.
The left side of the building reveals a basement with a modern door and window, along with a 12-pane sash window and a modern window on the ground floor, and two small chamfered attic lights.
