Description
Ticksey How boundary stone, dating from the mid 18th century, is located 450 meters southeast of Lockwood Beck Farmhouse. This boundary stone is made of roughly-dressed sandstone and measures approximately 30 centimeters by 30 centimeters and stands 91 centimeters high. The west face of the stone is inscribed with the words 'S Ticksey how', marking the boundary between the former parishes of Stanghow and Moorsholm.
