Description

Glenville House is an early 19th-century building constructed from hammer-dressed grey sandstone, topped with a slate roof. It features a central stairhall plan and is one and a half rooms deep. The house is two stories high with a symmetrical front that has two windows. A central panelled door is positioned under a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars. The windows throughout are sashes with glazing bars and have wedge lintels above them. At the center of the rear, there is a tall round-headed staircase window with radial glazing, set in a moulded keyed surround. The gable walls are coped and include moulded kneelers and end stacks.
