Description
Bent Rigg Farm Cottage is a house that was originally a pair of cottages, built in the late 18th century with later alterations. It is constructed from squared sandstone and features a pantile roof with brick stacks. The building has a direct-entry plan and includes a rear outshut that was added later. It is two stories high with a two-window front. Originally, there were paired centre boarded doors, but the left door is now blocked. To the left of the doors is a 16-pane sash window, while to the right and above are two-light horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. The cottage has coped gables and end stacks. At the time of the resurvey, the property was unoccupied.
