Description

Maid Marian is a house dating from around 1700, with some alterations. It is built of roughly herringbone-tooled coursed sandstone and features a pantiled roof with brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two bays. There is a modern six-panel door in an inserted opening, while the original doorway to the left has been blocked. On the first floor, there is a fire window with a fixed light on the right and a small modern casement on the left. A dormer is located at the extreme left, and there are end chimneys, with the left one being taller. The house has two projecting pent extensions, one on either side, which are not of special interest.
