Description
Coronation Farmhouse and Barn is a house and later barn dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone brought to course, with French tiles on the house and pantiles on the barn. The building features a two-cell house that originally had a gable entry but now has a passage entry through the adjacent barn. It stands two storeys high with two first floor windows on the house and a single storey barn. The house has three-light Yorkshire sash windows, with a fire window to the right. The barn has a six-panel door at the left end, with one two-light Yorkshire sash and one fixed window to the right. On the first floor, there are three-light Yorkshire sash windows. The building has flat arches throughout, sprocketed eaves, gable coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks on the house. Inside, there is a stone heck in the sitting room and chamfered ceiling beams in both main rooms.
