Description

Hambleton House is a house dating to 1836, as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed from limestone rubble, brought to course, and has a pantile roof. The main structure is a three-cell direct-entry plan, with a single-cell range attached to the rear under a cross-shaped roof. The front features a six-panel door with a cornice and the datestone above. The windows are two-light, small-paned Yorkshire sash windows, present throughout the building. There is a ridge stack, along with a rebuilt stack on the right end of the house. The building is included on the list for group value considerations.
