Description
Scawton Park is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble and features a pantile roof. The building has a central entrance and a service cross wing at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has two first-floor windows. The entrance consists of a boarded door, and throughout the house, there are six-pane sash windows set beneath wooden lintels. The gable ends have coping and shaped kneelers, with stacks at each end. A notable feature is the fine 19th-century leaded range that serves the kitchen.
