Description
The front walls, railings, and gates to Prospect House date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed tooled sandstone and cast iron. The side walls feature shallow gabled coping that slopes down on either side into three curved ramps, leading to square, rusticated corner piers topped with gables. The lower front walls are rusticated on the outside and have roll-moulded coping, supporting cast iron railings with ornamental standards. These railings extend to a central pair of similar gate piers that hold cast iron double gates.
