Description
This cart shed, located approximately 50 metres south of Horn End House, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of tooled sandstone and features a pantile roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and has a two-bay front. It includes paired segmental arches made of tooled shaped voussoirs, which support double board doors. There are square shuttered pitching holes on the loft floor and coped gables at the top. On the right gable end, stone steps lead down to a dog kennel located below a board loft door.
