Description
Resthaven is a mid-18th century outbuilding that has been converted into a cottage in Robin Hood’s Bay. The structure is built of coursed sandstone, likely using re-used material, and has a pantiled roof with stone copings and kneelers. It has a plinth and is two storeys high with an attic, spanning two bays. A four-panel door is located on the left side, with a six-pane pivoted casement immediately to the right. A late 19th century sash window is on the first floor to the left, and a modern fixed light is on the right. There are two flat-headed dormers in the attic. The building is listed for group value.
