Description

The structure is the walls of a mill pond located 4 metres north of Bransdale Mill, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from roughly tooled sandstone and forms an irregularly shaped area enclosed by walls that are approximately 1 to 2 metres high. The pond serves to close off the mill-race and was noted to be thickly overgrown at the time of the last survey.
