Bransford Mill, Approximately 30 Metres North West Of Bransford House

Bransford Mill is a water-powered mill located approximately 30 metres north-west of Bransford House. It dates from the early 19th century and features a combination of brick and timber-framing with a hipped tile roof. The building consists of two parallel ranges running north to south and is one storey high, built across a slope with a lower level at the northern end.

The south wall has a central doorway with a window opening to its left. The left side of the east wall is made of brick and includes two casement windows along with a brick dentil course. The right side of the east wall is constructed from weatherboarded timber-framing, supported on a sill beam above ground level, and features a casement window and a doorway to the right. At the time of the survey in August 1986, the west wall had partially collapsed.

On the ridge of the roof of the eastern range, there is a timber louvre. Inside, the roofs are supported by bolted king-post trusses, and an iron winch is still present. The lower level of the mill was only partly visible during the survey, but a previous survey in September 1973 noted that a wheel and gearing remained below.
