Range Of Outbuildings Approximately 15 Metres East Of Douthwaite

This is a range of outbuildings located approximately 15 metres east of Douthwaite, consisting of a coach-house, which is now a garage, and stables with lofts, along with an attached wall and additional outbuildings. The structure is built from orange-red brick in a random bond pattern, featuring sandstone dressings and stone slate roofs. It is a single storey with an attic, comprising stable buildings that have two windows, along with one-storey flanking bays.

The coach-house and stables have paired plank doors situated left of centre, positioned between 12-pane sash windows, with a similar door and window arrangement on the right side. The loft windows are paired shouldered lights that include diamond lattice glazing. A central cupola with an ogee cap is present, and the opening to the former coach-house on the left has been altered. The right flanking bay features a round-arched gateway with an openwork timber gate. All gables are coped, and the stable building returns have round-arched louvred openings in the gable ends.

The attached wall has round-arched openings set in rusticated surrounds, which contain plank doors. The outbuilding includes two wide panelled doors to the right of windows that have paired shouldered lights with diamond lattice glazing. The structure also has coped gables and a stack at the left end.
