Description

Lowna Bridge is a bridge built in 1825, constructed from dressed sandstone. It features a single span with an elliptical arch made of voussoirs. The bridge has plain parapets with cambered copings that curve around at each end, terminating in cylindrical piers topped with domed caps. Part of the bridge is located in the conservation area of Gillamoor.
