Description
This icehouse, located 200 meters north-west of the drive entrance to Newton Park in South Baddesley, dates from the early 19th century. It is a brick structure that is covered with earth. The icehouse features a low passage that is 1.5 meters long, leading into the top of a domed chamber that has a diameter of 3 meters and a depth of at least 2 meters, with the bottom well covered by debris.
