Description
Little Ashton is a house dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of stuccoed brick and has a plain tile roof. The building is two stories tall and has three bays. The front features a central six-panel door that is sheltered by a Doric porch. Above the door is a twelve-pane sash window. The flanking bays have two-story canted bays, which contain sixteen-pane sash windows at the front and eight-pane sash windows on the sides. These bays also have a moulded cornice that supports a flat roof. The building has a parapet at the front and sides, with simple coping and chimney stacks positioned on the sides behind the hipped roof.
