Description

Queen Anne's Restaurant is an early 18th-century building, originally a County Police Station. The building is constructed of painted brick, featuring a string course at first-floor level and a wide, modillion eaves cornice. It has a tiled roof and extends to two storeys and an attic. There are four windows, which are sash windows with flush frames and glazing bars. A doorway is set within a moulded architrave surround with a dentilled cornice above. Queen Anne’s Restaurant forms a visual group with the Wheatsheaf Public House located opposite.
