Description
The west wall of the Abbey precinct, located 100 meters northwest of the Motor Museum in Beaulieu Manor Estate, dates back to the late 13th century. This wall is constructed of rubble stone and measures 120 meters in length and 3 meters in height. It features a coping made of flat slabs, which are inclined together with stones. At regular intervals, there are put-log holes. This section of the wall is a fairly intact part of the Abbey Precinct and is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
