Description
29 Romsey Road is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a thatched roof. The building is two stories high and has two bays, with an outshot at the rear and positioned end-on to the road. The front of the cottage includes a central porch with a hip roof made of brick, which has a plank door. There are three-light casement windows in the far bay and two-light casement windows in the bay facing the road. The roof is half-hipped at the road end and hipped at the opposite end, with a central ridge stack.
