Description

An 18th-century barn with a 19th-century stable attached, located 10 metres west of Brookley Farmhouse. The barn is constructed of brick with an old plain tile roof, while the stable features chequerwork brick and slate. The barn has three bays, with an open centre bay and ventilation slits in the end bays and gable walls. A smaller, three-bay stable is attached at a corner, facing the farmhouse. The stable has a central wide stable door, and two 24-pane windows on each side. All openings are cambered. The roof is half-hipped. Internally, the barn has a queen-strut roof with curved braces to the tilebeams.
