Description
Underhill is a 17th-century house that has undergone later alterations. It features rubble walls that are roughcast and whitewashed, with a slate roof and end chimney stacks, one of which has a circular shaft. The house is two storeys tall and has a central board door flanked by a single-storey stone porch that includes benches and a slate roof, likely added later. To the right of the door is a six-paned sash window, while a 20th-century casement window is to the left. The upper floor has three small four-paned sash windows. Inside, there are some original doors and panelling, as well as a cupboard dated 1716. The interior also reportedly contains an old mural stair that is now blocked up.
