Description
Church House Public House is a public house that likely dates back to the 17th century, with later additions. It is a one-storey building with an attic and consists of nine bays, with the last five bays being part of the later extension. The second and third bays feature an outshut under a cat slide roof. The windows are sashed, equipped with vertical glazing bars and horns. The fourth bay includes a gabled porch, which has small windows on either side. The first bay has steps leading to the entrance. There are four cross-axial stacks. At the rear, there is an outshut under a cat slide roof, along with a two-storey section that has four bays and a two-bay gabled rear range to the right. The first floor features four sashed windows with glazing bars, while the rear range has sashed windows with vertical glazing bars and horns, and other windows are casemented. Inside, the building has chamfered beams and a staircase with splat balusters leading to the front outshut. The first floor includes two-panel doors and a plank and muntin partition.
