Description
Stable Harvey Farmhouse and outbuilding is a farmhouse dating from 1711, featuring a court cupboard marked with the initials "RHM". The building is constructed of stone rubble, with some areas roughcast, and has a slate roof that is hipped at one end. It stands two storeys high and consists of three bays, with an outbuilding located to the left. The farmhouse is roughcast and has a slate drip course. The windows are fitted with small-paned fixed glazing and opening upper lights. The central entrance is adorned with a gabled porch, and there is a cross-axial stack.
The outbuilding includes a first-floor gallery that extends over the projecting ground floor, with steps and a timber post to the right. It features two pivoted doors on the ground floor and paired pivoted doors at the first-floor level. The rear of the outbuilding has a gabled wing, which is roughcast on the right side. This wing includes small casement windows and a wide-board door on its right return. There is a corbelled gable-end stack, an outshut under a cat slide roof on the left return of the wing, and a small light to the left. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to contain a court cupboard, an old fireplace, doors, and beams.
