Description
The farm buildings located to the south-west of Stable Harvey Farmhouse consist of two barns and a central cow house, likely built in the 18th century with later alterations. They are constructed of stone rubble and topped with a slate roof.
The barn to the north-west features three bays and collar and tie beam trusses. It has two small windows with timber lintels, including a chamfered-mullioned window with two lights on the left. The cow house, which likely dates from a later period and has an altered roof, consists of four bays and includes small-paned fixed glazing in its windows and entrance, which has an overlight. The wall below the eaves is plastered.
The barn to the south-east also has three bays and a pentice above the entrance, which features a timber lintel and pivoted doors that are now detached. This barn also has collar and tie beam trusses. These buildings are included for their group value.
