Description

Millbeckstock Cottage, located on Rayrigg Road in Bowness, dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries. The cottage is constructed from lime-washed stone rubble and features a slate roof. It has two very low storeys with long, low proportions and a simple rectangular plan. A low gabled porch is present at the entrance. The first floor has six modern casement windows. Inside, the cottage is said to contain old wood partitions and a cupboard that is dated 1684.
