Description

Rayrigg Hall Farmhouse, built in 1834, was formerly listed as part of Rayrigg Hall. This early 18th-century building features thick white-washed stone rubble walls and a slate roof. It stands two storeys high, with the front facing the yard showcasing two "cross" windows on each floor, which have small leaded panes and wooden mullions; some of these windows have been renewed in an old style. The rear wall of the farmhouse is only 9 feet from the rear wall of the Hall.
