Description

Corner House is a late 18th or early 19th century house located in High Lorton. It is constructed of pebbledashed slate rubble walls with a graduated greenslate roof. The building features cornice-banded roughcast chimney stacks. It is two storeys high and has two bays. A recessed 20th-century door and sash windows with glazing bars are set within painted raised stone surrounds. There is a similar 20th-century side door, sash windows, and a small kitchen extension. The house is listed for group value with Corner Cottage, Nutshell, and Yan Yak.
