Description
Ings School, dated 1869, is a building that has been converted into a Parish Hall. It features stone rubble walls with rough-cut quoins, limestone cills and dressings, and a graduated greenslate roof topped with a blue glazed ridge. The structure has an L-shaped plan with a gable facing the road on the left side and is a single storey. The front includes a round-arched casement with glazing bars, two small round-headed windows above in the gable, and a cross casement to the right, with a boarded door situated between them. The other sides of the building display two similar round-arched casements and two cross windows on the left return. A bellcote is positioned on the front gable. Inside, the building retains a pine boarded dado and original boarded doors.
