Description

A 17th-century farmhouse with an attached barn at right angles, altered and extended in later centuries. The farmhouse has a roughcast render and a graduated greenslate roof, featuring two chimneys and an ogee gutter with lions' heads at the junctions. It has two storeys and an irregular arrangement of four windows. A late 19th-century sash window is to the left, paired sashes to the right, and a central 19th-century four-panelled door sits beneath a 20th-century porch. Above, there are three late 19th-century sash windows. The attached barn, now also part of the farmhouse, has three 20th-century windows, a 20th-century door, and a 20th-century sash window above.

The interior of the farmhouse includes decorative plaster panels on both the ground and first floors, with one panel bearing a date of 168. A moulded 17th-century partition divides the ground floor, while a plank and muntin partition is above. An oak staircase, with 17th-century panelling and cupboards in a rear extension, is also present, alongside 17th-century panelled doors. Chamfered beams and a window with heavy oak mullions and lead lights (now incorporated into the kitchen's interior wall) are also noteworthy features.
